Emily Ratajkowski apparently was a kid TV actress on Nickelodeon.

Fast forward.

Emily Ratajkowski is an insanely endowed model with nice eyebrows.

What's Between Beauty and Fashion?

A long time ago we stopped clicking the "Next Blog" button on Blogger, because the results were always so disappointing. They are mostly blogs by people like this, selling cosmetics:

The blogs always have names like What Lachesis Thinks or What Kristel Sez.

Today, on a whim, we hit that sucker anyway and to our surprise found Alpha Blonde...
A yound lady named Aleksis (pictured in black, taking her own photo) writes about "Beauty. Fashion. And everything in between." We had a short water-cooler convo about what, exactly is in between, and came up with this answer:

Eyebrows.

Not sure if Aleksis would agree, but then, we're biased. In Aleksis's case, the brows seem reinforced with cosmetics, but that's ok because it's not always easy for blondes. In this case, we're all about the crazy shape. Of the brows, that is. Of course.

Anyway, kudos to her with the cruelty-free thing, and with the eyebrows. Maybe we'll hit that "Next Blog" button a little more often.

Phoblographer Aaron Feaver

Check it.

We have an army of blog-reading monkeys who are trained to find and report on excellent photography that has an eyebrow component. Monkey Prime recently knocked on the conference room door and signed with coarse gestures that that he had found a photographer who not only delivered the brow goods, but was also blogging the efforts of other top shutterbugs.

Win Win.

This person is Aaron Feaver. He has his own photo site but also has a blog, and a Flickr stream. The monkeys will be mining his awesome postings for photos worthy of the Blubrow treatment. Until then, enjoy this one from Feaver himself.

Did you ever annoy your friends in high school by playing that game?

Delicate Pout? Yes. Dramatic Eyebrows? No.

According to Fleshbot, Zuzana Gregorova is "known for her dramatic eyebrows and delicate pout."

Meh. We've seen much better. Click anywhere in the cloud tag to the right.

Looks like she can only measure up when the eyebrow paint is laid on thick by a makeup artist. We also don't think her eyebrows are high enough above her eyes to be as prominent as we like them.

New Web Layout and Megan Fox Topless

Dear web visitors to Blubrow:

Just a friendly notice...We changed a couple of things in the right sidebar on the web site. We had created 400 separate labels over the years, but 80% of them occurred fewer than 5 times. So

1. we hid any label that wasn't used at least 5 times (with one or two exceptions that we don't feel like explaining to you), reducing the number you see to 80; and
   
   
2. we left them in alpha order, but made it so the number of instances of each label is in parentheses after the label in the cloud.

And here's a picture of Megan Fox topless. She's wearing pasties, but you will probably like this anyway. No?

We mentioned this guy Leslie Miles before, and it's still working for us. A lot.

Not a Complete Failure

This was one of the less humorous postings on the Fail Blog, but we liked it nonetheless.

Caroline McCarthy's Social Brows

We noticed the eyebrows on this artistic rendering of blogger Caroline McCarthy, who writes The Social over on C|Net.

So we got to wondering what she really looks like. And here she is:




She's cute in the way that dork tech bloggers could be cute, but actually are not.

Then we saw this, and we had to include it. So much to say about it – and yet, it speaks for itself.

The Amityville Eyebrows

We got a direct message via Twitter the other day, from eyebrow connoisseur (yes, that's French we're speaking) @gamgob. That's short for Gamma Goblin, which is a clever reference, and if you don't get it, you're a pud.

But we digress.

@Gamgob shared via Twitpic a couple of caps from the 2005 remake horror called The Amityville Horror, starring none other than the eyebrows of Melissa George. We agreed that these are that which we seek, and so here they are:

Our most loyal reader turned us on to a blog by a guy named Leslie Miles, and whether by design or not, he features photos of many beautiful women with eyebrows worthy of Blubrow.

Another Eyebrow Blogger. It Has Begun.

We received an email the other day that was like a bolt from the blue. It said, in part:

Just wanted to let you know, that I created a blog devoted to bold natural brows...though mine is more for the natural, and thick brows...we can cover the brow spectrum and possibly catch something one [of us] has missed...

At this point we felt the way John Connor feels at the end of T3 where he is in the bunker and some dude from Strategic Air Command comes on over the radio, and it's like, OMG! We're not alone!

Except we don't have a Commodore Series 8000 PET. WTF?
