Kidman: From Australia, In Australia

Been a while since we saw Ms. Kidman and her eyebrows.

She's made a film which appears to be James Blondeless. It has something to do with Australia, and is called...Australia (coincidence? I think not!). Think Empire of the Sun meets Walkabout, but without Bruce Beresford and with Wolverine.

Here are some choice screen shots from the hi-res trailer. Click 'em to see them at 720p resolution:

Nicole Kidman in Court

And now the news for...me.

Nicole Kidman was in an Australian courtroom this week, as part of the defense in an anti-defamation suit brought by a paparazzo against a newspaper. I frankly didn't follow the details.

Ironically the photos below are from her appearance and were taken, we presume, by...paparazzi. Fuel for the fire. The eyebrows are looking OK...not super, but not bad either.

The security guard is all "Hell, yeah!" I would be, too.

Since paparazzi are famous for invasions of privacy, why not celebrate this posting with the French version of the movie poster for Invasion?

Lions and Tigers and Brows, Oh My!

Back in July I wrote about The Golden Compass, a film version of a popular book for kids. At the time there was a short trailer with a few worthy moments of Nicole Kidman. Now they've released a fairly long (and completely incoherent) trailer, with a few more eyebrows. And as usual, I have captured the best of it - such as it is - right here.

First off, the oh-so-annoying Eva Green is in the movie, along with Kidman. Aside: Is James Blond tapping all these women? Here are two shots of Green's eyebrows:

OK, enough of that. Kidman is constantly in motion, which is why the video stills below are not too sharply resolved. But you get the idea. As usual, there is much that is good, and some that is disappointing about Kidman's brows.

Scroll-down "Siskel and Eyebrow" review: What's the plot? As far as I can tell, the lion from the Narnia movie is defeated by the Coca-Cola polar bear and a capuchin assistance monkey.

Kidman again!

So she's on a roll. Nicole is in the movie version of some popular kids' book, The Golden Compass. As previously indicated I'd like to comp her ass, but it seems that this task falls of late to - that's right - 007, James Blond. He's in this movie, too.

Meanwhile, here is a photo from the movie's website, plus some (blurry) screenshots from the trailer.

Sorry, no nude Nicole now.

Nicole Kidman: The Invasion

So Nicole Kidman was paid $16 million to show up for a movie (coming soon!) called The Invasion (co-starring 007, James Blond). I predict it will be confused with The Visiting - oh wait, nobody saw that. Cool.

Anyway, sometimes her brows look good, but not always (unlike, say, her ass - speaking of invading):

Meanwhile, I think they've done a decent job with her eyebrows in this one. What do you say?
