Play, Blogger Play, Play!

I like to think I'm pretty inventive. Sometimes I come up with an internet game, that you can play. iDisk Surfing is one such game. Another is Google Image Roulette.

Now the good folks at Google have given us another toy to play with online. It's called, simply, Blogger Play and according to the FAQ, it's
a real-time slideshow of photos Blogger users have recently uploaded to their blogs. It's a great snapshot of what people are thinking and posting about, right now!
Well, it is and it isn't. For example, right now I'm thinking about sex and porn, but that is not represented on Blogger Play, which tries to filter out "adult images" using Google SafeSearch settings. But even Google isn't perfect:
...it is still possible that you may be exposed to such images while watching Blogger Play. If this happens...let us know about it and we'll be sure to exclude it from Blogger Play in the future.
In other words, when the dorks in the back room at Google are done jerking off to whatever naked chick you stumbled upon, they will bookmark it.

The vast majority of the photos that appear on Blogger Play are incredibly boring and of surpassingly low quality, but the parade of images is oddly hypnotic - almost addictive. And every once in a while, you'll catch one worth pausing for.

The two images below come from a blogger named Mikki who is in Europe, traveling around for no apparent reason (something about Gwen Stefani and Christian fellowship). On the right in this photo is her friend Carly from San Luis Obispo:

And this is someone she met in Hungary, named Marta - a little harder to appreciate the brow, but go with me on this one:

The point is: check out the Blogger Play site and see if you can catch a hidden gem. And if you find one with decent eyebrows, email it to me and I'll post it if it meets the subjective Blubrow Community Standard.

Scroll-down technological advance:

And if you're more of a gadget freak than an eyebrow voyeur, no problem. Blogger Play has something for everyone, such as this prototype for a Swiss Segway...
