A More Traditional New Year for Some

Last week we started the year all dirty and whatnot, with a celebrity porn story.

This week we're backtracking and bringing you a more traditional way to welcome 2012: with Sports Illustrated swimsuit calendar models. We picked the three who are most rockin' the eyebrows.

Eyebrow News: Huffington Post Weighs In, Offers Poll

It's not everyday that a mainstream source covers the eyebrow world, but today Huffington Post's Verena von Pfetten (isn't that the name of a character from a Stefan Zweig novel?) covers the bushy eyebrow's comeback. But to be clear, she's not talking about untamed madness, she's talking about Hollywood control. Which is good.

Hilary Rhoda Cleaned Up Nicely

We checked in with Maryland-born model Hilary Rhoda last October, and promised we'd check back to see how those fearsome but fraying brows were shaping up. Here's the update.

Good news. She's in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit thing, and the brows look as bold as ever, but just a little more managed. Can't wait to see her again!

Hilary Rhoda Needs a Pit Stop

Hilary Rhoda has a lot going for her. She's 21, she's a millionaire from modeling, and she didn't even have to go to college to get a good paying job.

And she has impressive raw materials for building the kind of eyebrows we love to feature at Blubrow. But in her latest appearance in Purple, the brows are looking a little unmanaged around the edges. We'll monitor that for you.
