We saw Mantis as a full on blonde (without the chest ink), then as a raven-haired SG, and now she's somewhere in between.

Israelis, Real and Fake

Ayelet Zurer is an Israeli-born actress with good brows and a nice look...


Cote de Pablo is a Chilean-born actress with good brows and a nice look. And on NCIS (as we have mentioned) she plays an Israeli character. The only Israeli girls we ever see are the ones in our Flickr group, Women's Eyebrows, so this reality check lets us know that the TV folks are doing a good job of making their American-raised Chileans look like real honest to goodness Israelis.

Amateurs on the Weekends: The Undie Run

Amateurs on the Weekends is one thing we'll try to keep doing more or less consistently. The first such post of 2010 brings you some comely co-eds from UCLA, by way of an event called The Undie Run. We told you last August that this event was supposedly banned, but students are persistent, clever and clueless, so they went ahead and did it anyway. Not only are there many pieces of lingerie in evidence, there are a few choice eyebrows too.

Let's see....We're not sure if bra/panty combos are "supposed to" match, but we're forgiving at least the lass on the right for the mismatch. Those brows make up for any fashion faux pas (that's French!):


The lady in blue has the brows we're looking for, but did you know that Geordi La Forge went to UCLA too?


Finally, all we can say to this is: Holy Crap.

Aaaand we're back.

The beach house is nice, but the Blu Crew started getting cabin fever and we had to come back to civilization to resume the one thing that keeps us all from killing each other: Blogging about eyebrows.

We'll pick up more or less where we left off, delivering 2010's combo of amateur shenanigans, accidental or intentional nudity, voyeurism, celebrity hate and love, awesome photography and the occasional foray into sports, art history, video, movie trailer stills, and always – ALWAYS – the eyebrows.

Let's get going. Tanya Gramatikova not only shoots great photos, she stars in them as well. We're still in love.
