When I was writing about Deborah Kerr yesterday I remembered Natalie Wood! She had some righteous eyebrows, and a unique appeal.

Actress Deborah Kerr has passed away.

Our parents remember her rolling around in the surf with Burt Lancaster.

Our childhood babysitters remember her bounding about in the arms of Yul Brynner in a hoop skirt on a shiny ballroom floor in a Siamese palace. (Incidentally, her songs in The King and I were dubbed by Marni Nixon, who made a career of recording over the mediocre singing voices of Kerr, Natalie Wood (West Side Story) and Audrey Hepburn (My Fair Lady)).

However you remember her, or even if you're too young (or clueless) to have heard of her, take a moment and enjoy her stylish look and presence.
