When we were kids, the height of cinematic special effects were the undead children-of-the-Hydra skeletons from
Jason and the Argonauts [six minute video
here, featuring the Akkadian-looking neck beard dude!]. That movie was also notable for the character Medea, played by beauty queen
Nancy Kovack.
Her story is interesting, actually, and she was a mainstay on a list of TV series that reads like...well, that reads like this:
Star Trek, Bewitched, Batman, I Dream of Jeannie, Perry Mason, and The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
Nancy married conductor Zubin Mehta and gave up her film and TV career.
